·         A key feature of this variety is its tolerance to the herbicide Imazethapyr.

·         This variety is particularly suitable for direct-seeded rice (DSR) cultivation, allowing for more effective weed control.

·         This variety is a non-GM herbicide-tolerant Basmati rice variety.

·         It can also be grown in irrigated transplanted conditions.

·         This variety is developed by the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI).
